FeaturedCommentsCan't wait to read some more pig literature, my favorite of yours still is pig out where the blond steals food from her collegues and becomes a pig for breeding. Can't wait to see more stories.
You have great imagination and work, but I believe you are becoming to comfortable with doing the same over and over again. Each new art piece looks the same, but in different positions and titles. Try to spice things up a bit and try something new, maybe even more difficult. It's better to have quality than quantity. Cheers!
As I have frequently said, I do this for me, not for others. I don’t care very much whether others like it or not. If my work is your cup of tea, you’re welcome to enjoy it. If it isn’t, you can easily find something else you do like. And if my work fails to live up to your quality standards, I encourage you to patronize artists you do like, instead. I would recommend to you OdysseusUT, Something-Wild, Ironhorse, Lessthanhuman, or Shakealicious; all of whom are top-tier photomanipulators right here on DeviantArt.
I don't understand why you think I'm patronizing you, I'm not. In my opinion, doing the same thing over and over again is boring and unartistic. I do not wish to get off on the wrong foot, but it appears that you take things too personally when it was intended to be constructive criticism. First impressions count and yours was aggressive, unfriendly, and blatant. If you disapprove of my reply, just remember that these are just opinions, and it is easier to be nice online than in real life. Goodbye.
The word ‘patronize’ means ‘support’ or ‘visit regularly’. My comment was in no way aggressive. It was blunt, because I don’t want to give you the impression that I will ever change in the ways you want. But I also then gave you suggestions for finding work that might appeal to you more.
You’re the one who came here and announced that my work lacked quality, was all the same, and wasn’t difficult to make. Read your own comment carefully. It’s not constructive criticism; it’s just rude. I know you think it isn’t, and you probably didn’t intend it as such, but it is. Please understand, hearing some random person I’ve never heard of before coming here and telling me that my work is subpar - but I could be really good if I just abandoned doing what I like to do and illustrated their kink instead - is very annoying. If there’s something you want to see, make it yourself or hire someone. Expecting someone else to drop what they’re doing and do things your way is the height of arrogance. I take criticism well from people I have interacted with extensively or who are also themselves photomanipulators. But I don’t accept unsolicited advice from random internet strangers. Yeah, I understand. If you didn't know I go around giving people a hard time, and it appears you have fell for it.
Honestly, you are very good at what you do and are an excellent liguist, as well as a truthful and nice person. Most people I annoy are either anger and irrational, or completely ignore me. Congratulations on staying true to your beliefs. Sincerely, David P.S.: Sorry to hear that most of your artwork was taken off deviantart. Continue what you're doing and do not let anyone tell you different. I am just here to test people. Au revoir! |
